baby gerbils need a home - SE London - now all rehomed

Hi - I have baby gerbils who unexpectedly arrived 7 weeks ago followed by a second litter last week.  We have set up a second tank so we can have 2 male and 2 female gerbils but need homes for the others .

Type of animal - gerbils

Location - SE London/Kent border

Age - 1 male and 2 females - 7 weeks old.  The male needs rehousing within a week, and the females just before Christmas (they are helping mum look after the new babies at present)

Description - 1 red-eyed white female, 1 light grey female

At the moment we are not sure which of 2 males to keep - we put a slate one in with dad but he is similar in colour to dad and we are having trouble telling them apart at a glance.  The other male is golden with grey roots and we are going to try and split cage him back in with dad this weekend, and if that works we will rehouse the slate one, or rehouse the golden one if they don't get on.

Please PM me if you can help.

Many thanks

edited to say we now have different sets of gerbils needing homes - please see my post further down the page.  thanks!
