If members wish to post a thread to rehome an animal, then please use the templates provided.

For Rescue/Rehome organisations:

For Private Individuals wishing to rehome their pet:

Guidelines and Information

We would really appreciate it if those members who have posted in the Adoption/Rehoming section, keep their threads up-to-date.  This means if an animal has been reserved, if it can be added to the title of the original thread so people can see at a glance that it is no longer available.  The same applies to those animals who have been rehomed.  If "rehomed" can be added to the title when an animal has gone to its new home then the thread can be deleted in order to make the animals still needing homes more visable.

Unnecessary bumping up of the thread is not allowed as it means it is unfair on the other members who have posted.  However updates to say the animal is still looking for a home are accepted, but no more than once weekly (unless additional information is to be added etc)  It is encouraged to come on weekly to update the thread.  If this is not done, a reminder will be posted.  If there is no response to the reminder, a final one will be posted.  If there is still no response two weeks after the first reminder has been posted then the thread will be deleted.

For Rescue/Rehome Organisations OnlyWe have a section entitled "Rescue/Rehome Bio" which can be found here:

If you could please fill in some details about yourself, so we can have useful information about the rescues listed on the site.  This way it can let people know a bit about you - what you do and the animals you help and hopefully will help to highlight the animals in your care who need those loving new forever homes.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
